Your Go-Drive instructor will guide you through the process and provide as much help as you need to ensure you progress through each stage : THEORY TEST (Computerised test) Before you take the practical driving test you will need to take the DSA Theory test. This consists of a multiple choice section and a hazard perception test. · 50 multiple choice questions (achieve 43 plus correctly to pass). · 14 Hazard perception clips (achieve a score of 44 plus out of 75 to pass). PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST Once you have your theory pass certificate and have achieved the required standard of driving you are able to take your practical test. This lasts around 40 minutes. · Includes 2 manoeuvres and a possible emergency stop. · Minor faults of 16 or more results in failure. · Any major or dangerous fault results in failure. · “Show me - Tell me” questions are conducted at the start of the test along with an eye sight test. |
